Be sure that you have properly
registered your business name with the proper authority in your state, province,
or country.
When it comes time to sell
your property you must have proof that you own your business name
so that it may be passed to the new owner.
If you don't properly register
your business name, someone else may claim the name and prevent you from
using it.
